Allen Iverson, a professional basketball player has played in the National Basketball Association for Philadelphia 76ers (1996-2006), Denver Nuggets (2006-2008) and recently for Detroit Pistons (2008-2009). Currently he is working as a free agent because of his ongoing back injury though there have been claims that Iverson himself removed himself because he doesn't want to be benched during the entire season.
Iverson is known for being one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history and for his dunks but the most memorable of Allen Iverson Dunks was the one dunk he did over 6'11" Marcus Camby to think that Iverson's height is not even six feet! Iverson is only 5'10.75" so evidently he can really jump that high! Iverson is a great dunker, a small one at that. Allen Iverson values order and security in his life - that is how he is in the basketball court as well. Iverson is known to be an incredulously skilled basketball player even until now. The skills he once had before have not diminished that much though evidently he is older and slower now and the injuries seem to be taking its toll but above everything else, he is still Iverson, a great dribbler and dunker.
Allen Iverson has had many controversies in his entire life and is tagged as a very controversial figure, dating back to his teenage years including some troubles of the law but above all he has been rewarded with numerous awards for being the best player that he is and here's a few of them: NCAA Big East Rookie of the Year in 1995, two times NCAA Big East Defensive Player of the Year in 1995 and 1996 respectively, NBA Rookie of the Year in 1997, NBA All-Star Rookie Game Most Valuable Player in 1997, NBA Most Valuable Player in 2001 and more.
